BBC documentary details sexual misconduct allegations against actor Jared Leto

A BBC documentary has shown allegations of sexual misconduct against actor Jared Leto. The film, released in 2024, features ten women who say Leto behaved badly toward them. Nine of them spoke publicly for the first time.

Four women say Leto committed criminal sexual acts against them when they were teenagers. The alleged incidents happened between 2002 and 2016, when Leto was in his 30s and 40s. One woman says he sexually assaulted her in a motel bathroom when she was 17. Another says he raped her in California when she was also 17.

Four more women say Leto made sexually explicit phone calls to them when they were young. One woman was asked to sign a legal agreement to stay silent, but she refused.
