Bar DKDC hosts immersive Memphis music video event with live performances

Bar DKDC in Memphis held a music event called DKTV² on Friday night. The venue showed more than 20 music videos from local Memphis artists. The videos played on old CRT television screens, which gave off a warm glow. The screens were placed around the room, so the whole space was lit up by them. Live bands also performed during the evening. CRT screens were popular in the 1980s and 1990s, but most people stopped using them long ago. At DKTV², their soft light created a retro atmosphere that matched the local music on display. The event gave Memphis artists a chance to share their work in an unusual and visually striking setting.
