B&M sells home décor items that look like expensive premium alternatives

Budget retailer B&M is selling home décor items that look very similar to much more expensive products from other shops. The chain's decorative wall panel costs just £10, while a comparable version at Homebase is priced at £79. B&M's metal arch side table is also £10, whereas H&M sells a similar design for £85.

The B&M wall panels have a warm oak appearance with a slatted design and black felt backing. The pricier Homebase version includes acoustic properties that reduce noise, which the B&M product does not offer. The panels are sold as 60x60cm squares and can only be collected in store.

B&M stocked similar wooden panels earlier this year, and those sold out quickly after shoppers shared them widely on social media.
