Arkansas opens first Buc-ee's location in Benton

Arkansas got its first Buc-ee's convenience store on Monday. The store opened at 6 a.m. in Benton, close to Exit 114 on Interstate 30. Buc-ee's is a well-known chain that usually attracts very large crowds when it opens a new location. This opening caused concern because the same exit is used by families taking children to nearby schools. Mountain View Elementary and Middle School are both in the area. Parents and school officials worried that heavy traffic from the store would make the morning school run much harder. They expected long delays on roads that students use every day to get to class.
