Ariana Grande announces final pop tour before pursuing acting career

Ariana Grande has said that her 2026 "Eternal Sunshine" Tour will be her last as a pop singer. She made the announcement on Amy Poehler's podcast "Good Hang." Grande called the tour "one last hurrah" and said it may not happen again for a long time.

She wants to focus on acting and musical theater instead. She has roles in both "Wicked" films, and the second one, "Wicked: For Good," opens on November 21. Grande said she grew up loving musical theater and comedy, and she now wants to explore those areas more.

She was clear that this is a personal creative choice, not because she is tired or burned out. Her previous "Sweetener World Tour," which ended in 2019, was one of the most successful tours by a female artist that decade.
