Ariana Grande announces break from public work after tour ends

Ariana Grande has said she will stop public work and appearances after her Eternal Sunshine tour finishes. She told fans at a concert in Chicago on 3 August. She said the decision was planned well in advance and was not a sudden reaction to recent events. Grande explained that constant public attention was one reason for stepping back. She has also pulled out of a London theatre production called Sunday in the Park with George, which was planned for 2027. The show would have brought her back together with her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey. The production company confirmed her withdrawal and said it supports her choice. Grande has faced heavy media attention during her tour and after starring in the Wicked film.
