Apple raises MacBook prices while discounts remain at retailers

Apple raised the prices of its MacBook computers on 25 June 2026, with most models costing at least $100 more than before. The MacBook Pro and MacBook Neo were both affected, and some higher-end configurations went up by as much as $1,000.

However, shoppers who moved quickly could still find older stock at third-party retailers like Amazon at the previous, lower prices. Discounts on 14-inch M5 Pro models reached $449, while some 16-inch M5 Max versions were selling for $649 less than Apple's updated price. The biggest saving was $850 on a high-specification 16-inch model. Older MacBook Pro generations from the M2, M3, and M4 lines were also available at reduced prices, with some discounted by up to $700. Retailers warned that this stock would sell out and would not be replaced at those prices.
