Apple increases iCloud+ subscription prices across eight countries

Apple has raised the price of its iCloud+ storage service in eight countries, including Nigeria, Japan, and Indonesia. The increases range from 11 percent to 55 percent, depending on the country and plan. In the United States, the cheapest 50 GB plan now costs $1.99 per month, up from $1.69. Apple says the changes are because of currency shifts in those markets. iCloud+ gives users extra storage and features like private browsing and secure home camera recording. This is not the first price rise from Apple recently. The company has also increased prices for hardware such as iPhones and MacBooks in several countries over the past few months.
