Amazon cargo plane crashes at Miami airport, killing five people

A cargo plane crashed at Miami International Airport on Sunday, killing five people. The Boeing 767-300, operated by 21 Air, was arriving from San Juan, Puerto Rico, when it ran off the end of a runway around 2 p.m. The aircraft hit several vehicles before catching fire. Five more people were hurt, three of them seriously. More than 60 fire and rescue units came to the scene. Airport officials closed all runways after the crash, disrupting one of the busiest airports in the United States. The plane finally stopped at the northwest end of the airport. 21 Air is a cargo company that works with Amazon Prime Air. The FAA has opened an investigation into the cause of the crash.
