Aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln docks in Thailand after deployment

The USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier docked at Laem Chabang port in Thailand on September 2, 2026, after nearly nine months at sea. The ship had been supporting U.S. military operations against Iran in the Middle East. It spent 286 days at sea in total, with more than 250 of those days without stopping at any port. The long voyage left clear marks on the ship. Rust patches were visible on the hull and flight deck. Other vessels in the group docked at nearby ports, including Sriracha and Map Ta Phut. For the crew, the arrival meant their first time on land in almost nine months. The ship will now undergo maintenance after months of continuous operations.
