Actress arrested after altercation on flight from Los Angeles to New York

Actor Selma Blair, 54, was arrested at JFK Airport in New York on Sunday after trouble on a Delta flight from Los Angeles.

Two flight attendants were hurt during the flight. After landing, police were called because of a physically abusive passenger. Officers secured Blair to a stretcher. She is accused of kicking a police officer repeatedly in the face, neck, and chest. She was then taken to Jamaica Hospital, where she allegedly kicked a nurse in the chest.

On Monday, Blair pleaded not guilty to two counts of assault. She also faces separate federal charges related to what happened on the plane. Her representatives said a serious medical emergency happened before the alleged behaviour. The FBI is now investigating the incident.
