Actors discuss chemistry and roles in NBC comedy series Newlyweds

Téa Leoni and Tim Daly say they do not need an intimacy coordinator on their new NBC comedy series, Newlyweds. The two actors worked together before on Madam Secretary, and they say that experience built a natural chemistry between them.

Newlyweds tells the story of a free-spirited woman and a cautious professor who get married quickly after a short romance. It airs on Friday nights as part of NBC's comedy block.

Academy Award winner Jamie Lee Curtis also appears in the show. She plays the professor's former wife. When asked what she brings to the role, Curtis used a strong word to describe her character.
